SHERBURNE AND THE CENTER OF TOWN IS TWO MILES AWAY.

The Sherburne center of town is exactly 2 miles away from the house.  One mile down to Rt 12 and
one mile north to the red light.

Paddleford Park has 2 pavillions, a nice playground, a pool, and ball fields.  A creek also borders the park which kids enjoy playing in.

The playground and one pavillion.  The pool house can be seen beyond the pavillion.

A well maintained pool is available in the summer with life guards and generous swimming hours.
A photo of the pavillion closest to the pool.  The bath house and pool can be seen in the background.

Painted mural on the outside wall of Joe's and Vinny's Pizzeria.  Some of the best pizza you will ever eat.

GARDENING AND BEAUTIFUL SOIL

Periodically, I tried gardening.  The soil is a wonderful loam with few stones which was great
for gardening.

A very productive little garden spot.

These pear tomatoes happily grew in a large container.

More yellow pear tomatoes and a larger one.

A perfect start to a beautiful giant pumpkin until deer trampled the vine.

A nice variety.  I saved the lettuce from the deer with metal screen protection.

Harvested from the garden in the first photo above.
A pumpkin blossom.

I've grown lots of delicious strawberries in various spots.

Nice fresh strawberries out of my berry patch.

THE HOUSE AND FLOWERS

A few views of the house and flowers.

You would never know it is a 10 room house that once had a flat roof.  It was remodeled into 4 upstairs bedrooms.  The large bush on the left is a very old lavender lilac bush.  The tree seen on the right is a butternut tree.

The blue morning glories are a favorite of mine and made beautiful photos.

The morning glory vines climbed to the top of the windows and beyond.

Pansies are among my favorite flowers.

There were lots of wild black raspberry bushes growing in the back yard for several years.  The berries were delicious.
I planted many perennial flowers on the pool bank and rim.  This pink peony is one that blooms with beautiful flowers annually.

Another perfect bloom on the pink peony bush.

Morning glories happily grow by the house.

I enjoyed growing and photographing morning glories.

I looked for new varieties of morning glories each year.

The first Heavenly Blue to blossom on this jungle of vines.  Many more followed.
Heavenly Blue morning glory.

Various morning glory varieties to make a beautiful show.

Another view.

A pink variegated morning glory.

Variegated blue beauty.
A miniature variety of morning glories.
I planted daffodils on the rim of the pool bank and they blossom annually.

A daffodil with the barn in the background before all the trees hid the barn.

A clump of daylilies on the pool rim blossom each summer.

More of my pansies.

A zinnia beauty.

Another zinnia.

Two zinnias.

VIEWS FROM OUR HOME AND ROAD

Looking west from the house.  Foreground is old dump rake.

Another  view to the west.

A view from Blanding Road in autumn one mile to the west.  A ripe cornfield in the foreground.

The adjacent house that goes with the larger part of the farm and barns across the road.

BEAUTIFUL SCENERY IN ALL DIRECTIONS AND IN ALL SEASONS

The scenery from the property is beautiful in all directions and in all seasons.

Another view across the road.
Deer are a common sight year around
A zoom lens and a tripod is great for documenting activities across the road.  Hay baling was in progress
